New to this part of collecting
Ok I am a helmet guy, and just really started collecting wife left when I returned from Iraq soooooo I can spend my money on what I want now. Anyway, last week I am cleaning out a house for some people that had an ad in the paper said to take whatever I wanted. Found a great named Air raid defense Gladiator helmet. Still nothing to do with medals I know. Buuut I go back today to sweep mop throw out the trash I got through the boxes first and found these. Not the greatest no ribbons but they were free, and they look cool. The EK2 rough, lots of wear, looks like someone tried to remount a ribbon to it and drilled a hole through the beading, and it unmarked so dont even know if its legite. The war merit cross 2nd grade with swords not too bad but I can tell it is the zinc one that was once dusted in bronze but still free and I like em. Have to start somewhere.
