EK2 'Untergrosse' ??

Look at the difference in size of these two EK2s. The one on the right is a regular W&L.

Is it just wear that has eroded the corners?

Strangely it came with a thinner 25cm ribbon

Hi Nick,

I bet you will find that the dimensions are approximately the same, but that the degree of curvature to the arms is different.

My bet is that both are about 44mm square.

Most likely someone, probably a collector, replaced the original 30mm ribbon.

I would say too both regular EK2s with the left one - a W&L EK2 - having only wider flanges - this creating the longer outside sides .
