    Value of L/12 Marked Spanges

Someone made me a very strong offer on my L/12 marked 2nd Class Spange of the early second pattern (straight sides on date box). I was wondering if there are any recent sales that would give a fair value.

    Hi Bob
hard to say, but the L/12 mark does still up the price

not too many people can tell their spangen apart, and a non-marked L/12 one (and boxed) was sold on emedals a few months ago(it may still be in their database) and I think it was around 550, if that's any help...

maybe without a box, but with the mm, a little higher?
that being said, I'm still recovering from that 1st pattern L/57 EK2spange selling for $1K! so maybe we're all way out of touch!
    regards

I still can't help to think that the 1K $ is a "bit" to much, to pay for that kind of Spange.
But that is just my opinion.
