very interesting as this came from a business man that had a huge argument with the seller that it was a fake so managed to buy as a fake.when i saw it and held it polish fake rang out to me especially the mm 20. i will try find out seller details. thanks frank i will let my friend know and update accordingly

Frank is right on the mark, this piece is nothing like a Zimmermann EK1.

Dont like it my friend , this looks nothing like the 20s i have seen , i have a couple of repro crosses and one is very similar to the one you have posted , i think they are a bad copy of a cross known as a (solid) these were also not made from three piece constuction hence the name solid , the solid type i have not seen but i know that they exist , and if i remember right they were made from german silver with a oversize (fat) pin . I might have red this on hear somewhere i will have a look to see if i can find the posts ,but as for the cross you have posted , its another no for me sorry

I have seen this same cross with the number '50' on the pin. You can probably find it with other numbers as well. Definitely a piece-o-junk.

These are often encountered on ebay with spurious markings and misleading descriptions. They still seem to be fooling some less-informed collectors...however, no members of our excellent forum I'm sure!
