I dont know why that would be the case, if they were clearly marked with a copy stamp at least the crooks who plan to resell them as originals would be less keen on buying them.

Anyone gets a hold of any of these here in the U.S. let me know I would buy one...just hate buying from overseas. They are quite obvious fakes but done very nicely and would make a great filler on a uniform display.

It's sad, the auction specifically states REPRODUCTION. So someone else takes the opportunity to turn a buck by claiming them to be authentic...
