    Hi Ron,

I guess the number is 85, which would make this a piece made by Julius Pletsch in Gablonz. The EK2 looks fine, I personally give it the thumbs up.

      good one

      Hello,

Im with FRank on this one , i also give it a thumbs up and its one i also would add to the collection ( it has nice patine and a kinda salty look ) +> for more info on the LDO numbers go to the startpage and click on the research tools ( there you wil find the LDO numbers accopanied by the representative producer )

It indeed looks as the number 85 ( = LDO number ) on the suspension ring.

      Friendly Greetings,

        Hi Ron
IMHO, your cross is OK and I fully agree with Stijn and Frank on the maker's mark (i.e. 85)
        Regards

            Hi Ron,

Yes, it is quite common, if you paid around USD 40-50 for it, that is ok. To my best knowledge there is not more info to be obtained about the company of Pletsch as it ceased to exist.

P.S.: the maker might not be so common but it does not justify this cross to be rated "rare" in general. I guess that was more your question.

            Cheers, Frank H.
