Opinions on my cloth DKiG please...

    Hi everyone,

This is a Cloth DKiG on Luftwaffe backing which I have had in my collection for some years. I'm putting it up for opinions on originality.

One odd feature of this cross is the diagonal weave of the white field that is found behind the swastika. Typically this field runs from left to right as opposed to diagonal.

Nice purple backing cloth visible on the revere. And I love the darkened wreath.

      An original cross, I think.

Desperately seeking a Juncker Knights Cross ribbon loop and well used Knights Cross ribbon!!!

Thanks for the positive replies on my badge. Sure is a relief. Some time ago a 'dealer' questioned the originality of this badge so it has been on my mind since.

I have noticed a few cloth DKiGs coming onto the market recently bearing a paper label on the reverse 'C A Westmann Dresden' - the hakenkreuz appears to be too thin and misshapen on these. The cross is also misplaced on the white background. Anyone else seen these ? If I can find a photo I will post it for views.

The Westmann cloth DKs do feature a thinner swastika than other.

Sometimes the cross will be slightly off-center with regards to the wreath.

Nothing wrong with these Westmann crosses.
