@ Trevor and Marvin: thanks for the BIG compliment, but it's to much honor.

Collectors need other collectors to learn, trade etc.
If no one cares to share knowledge, the hobby will die eventually.

But it is indeed fun to make some family-shots

It sure did, but it was worth it !!

Now all I have to do is find the missing one...
So there will be another episode someday....

          Happy New Year ;-)

          Nice Schinkel collection.

But are you sure, that only one Schinkel Type is missing?

I tried to get every Variant of EK1 and I can give you an exemple, how hard it will be to complete only the screw back variants.

As deeper you drill you will find more and more types which are missing.

Still looking for 13 more screw back variants ;-) And maybe this will not be the end to complete all screw back variants

You will find it, perhaps soon! Best of luck Ben!

              I sure hope so Kevin!

@ Stefan: no, I am not sure that there is only one more variation missing, that s why I wrote " at least one"
There may be more, maybe some that I haven't seen so far.
But that is what makes this hobby real fun

@Jon : stop dying, I'm not done yet.
Still have to find at least one more variation.....

Here are the relatives from Austria. Maybe one of them will join Ben's family soon

I still need t find the "odd 9" and a nice one piece cross.

                greetings,
                Stefan

                  Wow.

I see two of the rarest Schinkels -- center, top row: Meybauer cross-shaped screwback Schinkels.

                  Right?

                  Congratulations on those...!
                  Best regards,

Well Jim, I had the same thing going comparing my clasp-collection to yours.......
That is unique, and the rest of your collection ain't bad either!!!

                              Hi Stefan,

A 1914 EK can not be a Schinkel.

Why? It is EK1 from 2nd WW and have the Schinkel Form.

Or do we only talking about the core design without looking to the frame?

So, core design tell us, if it is a Schinkel, if I understand you right!
