    Deumer EK1, the missing link

    Hi,

he are my new found, one of the last 2 Deumer EK1 I was looking for (I was lucky to find the 2d one too with help of 5tefan, coming soon)...

Here is from a german source an early EK1 with a L/11 stamp. The stamps is the same and at the same position as the later ones with the 2d type pin. No unique but very few of those are known and I am happy finally finding one...

This cross clearly link the usually early deumer w/o mark & early pin set up to the deumer 2d type with L/11 stamp and 2 type pin (as already does core & frame).

    A nice month for me...

    Michael

a detail, but I bought it in a case.
I was knowing the case wasn't use from deumer and that it wasn't a matching set but I really wanted the cross.

After a close examination the good surprise was that this case was a dark green one

                  Hi Michael,

The photo you labeled "The mm"... Is it my eyes, or when you look very closely at the base if the "L", I see the letters "PZ". Very interesting....

                  Regards,

Now I'm sure there are oodles of EK collectors checking all their MM's - especially the L/11's - for these little letters.

probably only a flaw, but very interesting.

Do you think I can resell it as a special limited editions EK1 for PanZer KC Holders ???

Hi Michael, very intresting cross, Do you really think it`s a flaw? How great would
it be if any maker has came up with a special mark within the maker mark????
