    Juncker Knight's Cross weight!!!!

Way before the internet...digital scales and calipers etc etc I'm sure a lot of 'old timers' had TOOLS with them as (we) slogged around the tables of Gun Shows and the like!!

Here's one piece I just stumbled across that brings me back to about 1974!!!

I had several of these ranging from I think 26 grms to 34 grms and as silly as it sounds used them to "measure" weights.....

Silly, old and surely out of date but it worked!!!

    Who else has 'forgotten tools'?

    Dave-

Any kid that grew up in the 60s and 70s had these scales with standardized weights. It was more like a balance. There was money riding on accurate measurements then as well. There was also the "gravity scale", which could be found on about every fourth high school student at the time as as well. These standards were used to verify accuracy of these scales. I wonder why all those kids were concerned with weight?

Man, I remember holding a cross in one hand and this bit of lead ( tire weight ) in the other and trying to 'FEEL' the difference...

The Passion Play of the Oaks has to end before we start another.

But, on these early 1900's Eastman Kodak scales, it would weight a lot get this old balance beam to move.

As long as we're being nosy, what is the gadget behind the scale? Espresso machine? Hyperbaric chamber for hamsters? Spectronic analyzer for RKs/ EKs?

BTW, that certificate ain't no good if it ain't signed....
