I can't see anything wrong with the cross, not so sure about the packet though.

What gives you pause about the packet?

Geroge; the overall very new appearance of the packet, sure we have seen pieces in the past that look absolutely like the day they were made. The writing looks almost too crisp, like it came out of a laser printer. Packets and cases really need to be in your hand to closely examine them to be 100% sure. <O</O

Re; the packet.

I was at a local 'medal fair' as we call them over here last week and there were a couple of dealers selling literally box's of this type of packet for the EK11 as reproduction packets for your EK11.

You could almost smell the print drying.

Light blue colour, have a kind of strached look about them!!

Well, I don't really have any thoughts on it. I don't actively collect packets, but I have one like this that came with an EK I wanted. (The packet was like an "extra." The EK -- no doubt good -- was marked; the packet was not.)
But if someone can show that they're bad, I'd be happy to learn more!

Hi There,

These 'kraft' paper packets have flooded the market in the last year or so and I've seen them in mint condition together with torn, faded to grey and wrinkled.

They seem to be made of a material with a weight between paper and cardboard similar to the art material given to children in junior school.

I'm no expert in packets but I have never seen these type in any book or journal before. My opinion only and I hope I am wrong as I have been looking for an authentic EKII packet for some time and these types just seem to be everywhere.

How long has the owner had their packet?
