I would like to hear you opinions about the light versions of Zimmermann DKiG/DKiS. I know it’s accepted by nearly all of the collector’s community (or by those who have it in the collection
) but the number of the crosses of this type are being posted for the discussion or for sale is really unbelievable for me. There were 5 or 6 manufacturers and also all of them have several different versions of the award. But if you search thru the WAF archives for example you’ll find out that more than 90% of all the crosses are light Zimmermanns. And all of them are mint or very slightly worn while it’s not easy at all to find a cross of any other manufacturer in such good condition.
