    EK I (Iron Cross) to a Hitler boy?

    I have never heard of HJ being awarded the EK1, I have seen documentaries on TV where they discuss HJ being awarded the EK2 in home guard positions; firefighting, manning flak batteries and search and rescue after allied bombings of German cities. I am not sure where this picture came from but it shows Hitler awarding brave HJ EK2's during the defense of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:State><ST1Berlin</ST1</st1:State>.<O</O
