    EK1 makers help!!!!

    This one have a unmagnetic core. Can anyone help with a maker opinion???

          Are we sure this is early ? It does not match mine at all . Did they have 2 EK1 dies going at the same time ? ANyway to tell what the core is made of ?

            I think it is brass, know I look ad it, it add fine with another one from my collection, just another pin system on the back. Think these types are early. Some other types with another pin, zinc core, and marked 4? are thought to be postwar as I understand it???

              The one I have has another pin type and round brass catch .... but the same frame . Your last one is staring to show some bead cracking which is not on mine .

                The one difference is the catch, in earlys we normally find the round catch, sometimes we can find that one showed by tystgaard in post # 6, here is another type, B.H.Mayer style.
