Hi Terry,

The L/52 cross listed is 100% original as Zimmermann crosses have certain characteristics which this one shows. The pin is at the bottom of the cross with the maker mark below it. I wouldn't worry about the holes in the screw plate as they do not detract from it in any way and could have been put there for any number of legit reasons.
If you don't take it, I will!

Thanks Brett. I want it but payment terms are a problem. My paypal account is not debitting my bank account directly but uses instead my credit card. Can anybody help pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase

Hi Terry,

If you have money sitting in your Paypal account, payment is made to the seller without any extra fees. If you don't have money in the account and they have to draw it from your credit card then the seller is charged an extra 4% (from memory) to cover costs. Maybe you and the seller can go halves in the extra costs, as when it is said and done you are only talking about maybe an extra $5.00. As we are all fellow collectors, I'm sure the seller would be agreeable with this. If not, the cross is still worth it with you paying all the extra charges.
What about offering him a direct debit to his bank account?
