Thank You diamond cutter;I appreciate the input. Ive listed this item a couple of times and have showed this item to several different people whom have claimed to and not to know about this item and not once did I claim this item to be an original.
This item has always been put out as an as is item with the only knowledge of said item that I had ever had was thst of other peoples heresay. It was tested and said to have silver content and told to me to be real and also told to me to be ?.Not once untill today has anyone claimed this item to be a copy and the one whom sent me an email claiming this did so without even seeing any photos.He/She was claiming this on the basis of the person claiming it to be real being a pawnshop owner,[a mickey mouse pawn shop owner] as they put it.Seems to me if all these people have time to blast there comments up on a private site were you cant even reply and/or defend yourself without even being a member they could at least infrorm the seller of such knowlage and maybe a little proof of there believe before throwing there so called knowlage out there as if they were awarded the medal themselves.
As it stands so far there opinion dont even stand up to the mickey mouse pawn shop owner.
At least he has a licence to give his opinion and I would venture to say has probably seen more fake originals and original fakes than anyone of us.[just my opinion] Bottom line; If I see an item for sale thats listed different than what it realy is and/or is lacking and/or containing to much information I let the seller[s] know my knowlage of it just out of common curtissey. Provided I Know my info to be true beyond a shaddow of a doubt and can prove so if asked to do so. Thank You for your time and patience and yes I will check into this a.s.a.p.

I've never read such "mumbo jumbo" in all my life. I thought I
understood the english language but now I'm not so sure.
Just what the h--- is this seller trying to say?
Some of these characters are masters at mixing words
to confuse others. The cross is what it is and he can't
change it with his confusing statements.

I wonder if Gordon Williamson has a licence to give his opinion on the crosses he knows better than most of us and has written about ....(since when are pawnshop owners licenced experts on the Iron Cross?... )

(above statement is not a jab at Mr Williamson...i'm just comparing the limited knowledge of a "Micky Mouse" pawn shop owner to the vast knowledge of Mr Williamson and wonder if a licenced pawnshop owner has more expertise at this than a published author..)

          Right on Dietrich

My opinion of this Cross is that it is about the same quality as the sellers ability to write and spell the english language. There was/is another Knights Cross on ebay that also has the most incomprehensible description...maybe it is another cover used by those who don't have a clue.

I agree, English is my first language and I can't for the life of me figure out what this guy is trying to say. I think this "email" could be a great "Make Work Project" for some forensic analysists. Wow very confusing at best!
