EK2 maker?

my new addition this unmarked iron cross. I just want your opinions on whether or not it is an original piece. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Possibly, but I'm not sure. The finish on some of these EK2s just looks like that. Better, daylight photos are needed I think.

when you look on place where is ring, there is some silvering left. So it must been cleaned.

Looks to be a good piece, what the maker is though I have no idea but I'm sure there is someone on board who can help you i.d. it.

Whether it's be cleaned or not is unimportant but IMHO this one has not been cleaned as you can see from the silvering pattern around the frame, the Silver has worn unevenly and the unprotected frame has patina around the plating. The daylight shots provide a better image of this.
