      Hi,
a Friend of mine in Germany sent this to me a few years back, it had the EK, ribbon and a 2nd class spange sitting in it too when I got it, my buddy said that's the way it was found in a local house. the case has square corners. , the silk/rayon is a gold/yellow, the velvet a reddish, is this case for a post war award? the spange, and EK 2 were good. anyone ever seen a case in this color scheme? the only markings I can see are in pencil under the silk and velvet, marked in pencil is a number (49) both velvet and silk were held in place by a glue with has since crazed and dried up
      Regards,
      Kevin

Kevin, any idea why the area above the cross is so large? That's much bigger than required for a ribbon.

              Hi Terry,

I have no idea about this case, that's why I'm asking I did notice the top section is as large as the bottom. like I said, I received it from a friend, it had a long length of ribbon on top section with a second class spange thrown in with it, the spange was separate from ribbon.
              regards,
              Kevin
