    EK2 (pretty sure fake) oppinions

I'm pretty sure this is a repro but would like confirmation. The core is magnetic and the construction feels like a three piece, however no seem is visible under magnification. Also, the swastika seems smaller than normal. The ring is marked "100". The ribbon looks old but glows under black light. Your oppinion?

Agree, as for the ribbon it may have been cleaned at one time and the chemicals are glowing, or it is a repro and gave the cross a more complete look, but a new ribbon is very easy to come by if needed.
            Great looking cross though.

Thanks All, but how come there is no visible seam on the edges? Also, I'll post some larger pics later once my camera battery has charged. Thanks.

I believe because they were that good at finishing these crosses you don't always see them. IMO W&L were among the best at finishing EK's with frosting and seams.

Looks like a good W&L . Alot of times their frames are double frosted - which covers up the seam all together . See closeup below .

Great! I'm glad to hear it is good, because i thought for sure this one was fake. Besides not seeing the seam, my main concern was the ribbon, as the white stripes glow like moonbeams under black light. Other than the glow, the ribbon appears to be good, it looks and feels aged, several pin holes, and I burned a small strand of fiber and it ignited like gunpowder. What are you guys thoughts on the ribbon? Could it be original and maybe exposed to something to make it glow??
