Hello forum...
I bought this lot from an 80 year old guy... who says it bought it a few years ago... at the estate sale of his neighbor/friend on a lead after a military show the day before.
It was pricey... at $1000. I just want make sure I didn't get burned.
There is also an army eagle on black background, and a piece of paper that spells out what the medals are?
It almost seems to have been war time done, or immedaitely post war for GI's to buy?
I assume the board was mounted by the Germans, since the Roman numerals are European in style. IE The numbers "1", and "7" are not the style that most Americans would write.
Or... is this a salesman's sample board?
Thanks for the comments.
Robert
