    '23' EKII question

Just a question for you '23' EKII owners; first of all, I have (8) EKII's manufactured by the maker '23'. (6) of them are unmarked, and the remaining (2), which are marked '23', have Meybauer cores. I'm assuming there must be marked crosses with cores other than Meybauer cores. Could someone please post a marked '23' with this same maker's core?

    Here's a Meybauer-cored, marked '23' cross...

    Hi Robert,

Interesting question; I did not realize that you had no '23' marked EK2s without Meybauer cores. I've had one in my life, which is now sold. But I can confirm that it was marked '23,' and had a Meybauer core.
    Best regards,
    Streptile

Most of my unmarked '23's have loose cores, so I assume they are early war crosses (if there's any truth to this theory). Unless someone can post a '23'-marked cross with the same core as my (6) unmarked crosses, I'm going to assume Meybauer became their core supplier.

I'm a bit confused.... Are we looking for marked 23's that DO NOT have Meybauer cores?
Both of my 23's had/have Meybauer cores, but I'm interested to see the other core type.

                      Regards - Danny

Yes, without the Meybauer cores, Danny.

Great cross, Mark. And, great photography!
