    Whoever told you the core was for a 'rounder' RK was right. This core is also used for a 'rounder' Ubergrosse...

        Now,,why does anyone think that that the frame stamp is not period??

        However..I dont think the 1813 is the same on the example youve shown,,or is it the paint??

          No, I don't think it's the same date (1813) either. Perhaps it's a variation. At any rate, it bears no resemblence to a known original. I feel confident in this.

          Looking at the frames, IMO, I think the workmanship is shoddy. I've circled just a few key areas which raise red flags to me.

            Well,,I never noticed that before,,,you may be correct,,,
            well at any rate they display well along my EK ephemora.
            didnt pay much for them so I'm not out much,,,just some curious pieces,,,

              It is the layout of the year dates and the deformed swastika that tells me that the core is likely not period.
              It is the badly defined outer edge of the frame that tells me that it is likely not from a period production.

                  The beading characteristics on the frame match known Latvian Schinkels (Fakes). I agree the core is from the Rounder fake series.
