    EK1 marked 65

I've been playing with close up's of some of my pieces, and this is a shot of the "65" mark of my K&Q EK1.... it's a very stylish piece of work...someone went to a lot of trouble over this, and we can still appreciate it. Thought you might be interested to see, too

      Hi Chris,
You have posted some nice close-ups. What kind of camera do you use?
Mine does not take any pictures even close to that.
      Thanks,
      Greg

Well, I'm using a Casio QV-4000, but its taken a lot of experimenting to get decent pictures. I use a close up lens attachment, and also find that a camera tripod is essential. I am trying to get the lighting right at the moment, and I find that I need a flash for close shots, but only ambient light for the full medal shots. Without the tripod its a bit hit and miss with blurring being often the result.
        Regards,
        Chris
