Thank you kindly Dietrich, I have posted attachments in the past but my membership dues must be due. Will take care of that immediately. The cross is marked with a slanted "20" on the other side of the pin. This cross was in a bank deposit box and I have a very short time to decide to purchase it. The seller offers no money back as he states he knows nothing about "this stuff". If it is a good cross, what would the value be? Thank you, G May

Looks nice Zimmerman manufactured cross from those pictures, can't say anything about the box, but cross looks nice!
Price for that condition cross is around 2000$ +- something.

Infact, Niemann has currently same kind of cross with the box for sale, and price is 2050 euros , only Niemann's cross shows slightly more wear than yours example. I can say that I would have bought that from Niemann if I would have had the money available .

Propably if you could provide still some more pictures of the wreath, year, maker mark and those rivets, then more accurate assessment can be given.

Just to make sure that you don't lose your money on high quality fake.

Because you have to be always extra careful, if seller is in a hurry and won't give a money back quarantee or atleast some inspection period.

From the pictures provided this looks like a real mint original Zimmermann, however I would want a clear closeup of the 1941, the hinge, the pin, and the makers mark, before I would lay my money on the table.

They make near perfect 134's and these are similar, just omit the 134 and plonk a 20 on under the hinge. No possible way to tell surely at the moment.

                            Kind regards,

                            Marcus

Damn! I've never seen a DKiG mint as this one! Congrats, mate! The case also looks good.
