                Hi Jon,
with the kind help of forum member Johnny R we think this belonged to Oberst Kurt Geschwandtner 1. Februar 1937 - 15. April 1940.

                regards,

                eddie

I said that Geschwandertner was one of the Rgt. commanders that would fit this tunics rank and unit if it is all original. On the top of the right wing I see something that looks to me like cast pitting also along the top of the border above the year and below the nine?

                    Hi Johnny,
                    you absolutely right.
well for now its only guess and its impossible to be sure just looking at those pictures,
i guess i only have one choice for now is to buy it and do close inspection.
If i end up getting this tunic i will post more and better pictures on uniform forum for deeper investigation.

                    kind regards,

                    eddie
