hi i got a ek1 and i want to know how to ruoghly know if it is original. it is not marked but i heard that something should be magnetic and simethig not, what is up with that??

Hi Zbiratelj, very roughly here goes: An original should be made out of three parts soldered together; a back, a central magnetic iron core and a "silver" frame. (But some EKI's were made from brass so as not to rust, but these are scarce.) Look at the edge of the cross and you will see a fine line where the parts are put together.
There is lots and lots of info about the EKI on this site. Do a search and you will find all the info you need
