    Unusual Blucher Star

    Hi,
Ive had one of these before, with the nut and bolt fixing, but hollow and by a different maker.
On this one the core is magnetic and there is a partially filled hole on the 3
o,clock frame where the suspension ring once whent thru.
Is this the Austrian style of Schinkel cross,or has the core been changed?
    Cheers

I do know they fake these heavy, and few ever get an opportunity at an original. I would think the front details would be better, but ill leave it to the experts to verdict it.

          Clarification

          Hey Franco,

Is this one sold as an original or a collector's copy/museum piece? I'm just curious - I have no information either way - just wanted a clarification.

Also you'll probably get more responses posting over in Imperial; even though this is really a pre-Imperial order, my guess is the knowledge-base will be wider over there on this kind of thing.

            Hi,
You cant buy originals of these, only pre 45,s which might be accurate copies,or post 45,s which are usually junk.
This one is gold plated and is pre 45 with what appears to be an old
            Schinkel cross attached.
It can be moved to the other forum.Good suggestion.

Right, that's why I was asking I just phrased it as delicately as I could so as not to offend if someone thought it was original.

I did see (one of) Blücher's Blüchersterns sold - I guess about 1999 - through Hermann Historica, however, on his sash. Or was it not there? I can't recall now...
