in my opinion cross in the bottom is an original Deschler with little # 1.
Cross on top is a fake.

the right catch is this you have seen in this thread.
in the other link picture is too little and not clear to say it has round catch.
I have 4 EKI all with this catch and I have seen always this kind only.

sometimes little or dark pictures don't let us to see the real form and beauty of our crosses..
