    EK1 mm 26 mint

    Hello ;-)

    Here is a super 26 B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim ;-)
I have got an information, that also this variants exist with a L/50 stamp.
If yes, why this crosses are stamped with"L/50" Gebr. Godet ?

    ???

Hard to understand exactly what you are asking. If you are asking did this variant also/ever come stamped L/50, then the answer is no.

        Whew!

Well teach me something! That's the first I've seen or heard of one of those. L/50? Hmmm! Now, the obvious question, why?

I have some pictures of cross number 3 in my files when it was still for sale:
I know who have it ;-)

I thought about buying that one myself a year ago, but I passed on the high price and the rusty core.

                  Hi Siegfried ;-)

I think this item is too much intersting ;-)
I think they are not ready for this kind of EK1!

                  The same like to my EK1 "L/18" another pin-system item no. 7 # 33

                  http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=352209

I think it is too much, variation of combination ;-) But it would be interesting, what reason causes this kind of combination ;-)

Does the LDO maker need to follow an order! And what happends if not?
I know they placed REFA to all LDO manufacturing! If some maker was not able to fulfil the contract, they did ask for help of other EK1 maker to fulfil the orders?!?!

I'm in contact with a known EK1 maker which is still existing! I hope I will get some information to this questions;-)

                    L/50

Stefan, any luck getting answers? Kind of forgot about this thread. I still haven't seen an L/50 mark quite like/exactly like the one's shown on these crosses. It's definately not like the boxed L/50 you see on the Zimmermann made crosses. Maybe I just haven't seen enough Godet marked medals. Still looking though. If anyone has seen an L/50 mark like these on any Godet medal, then please, please show it. Still curious, why only three of them known? That seems like a very, very small amount. Didn't want to let the thread get buried and die, especially with so few comments before from the forum members. Anyone else want to comment on these??? Maybe more than three known?
