          Muhlenkamp awards

Johannes Muhlenkamp got the Wound badge in Gold and very often he wore only that + his KC.

            Thanks Ludwig!

Any idea if he wore his "Panzer 75 or 100" or if he was indeed awarded the "100"

              Muhlenkamp

Sorry, no idea. But he was a hard core soldier, so I wouldn´t be surprised if he got the 100, but that´s only my guess.

Thanks again...from what I have been able to read he was a "soldiers soldier". I am a volunteer shield collector so a bit out of my league with awards etc but this guy interests me very much.

                Thanks again for your help.

                      Craig,

I think Eric has answered your question on "EL"; it's the Oakleaves to the Knight's Cross.

Eric, that's a neat document to have in a collection !

Eric, that is a fantastic bit of information and is much appreciated.
Do either of you know where I can get hold of any documents, photo's or anything related to the great man.

                          Muhlenkamp material

When you are interested I will ask Ron for it.
                          Some lower medals were double.
One photo album was during the war made by Muhlenkamp's sister with photos that were double.
Note that it was a large group, uniform, documents (for awards and promotion, letters, Soldbuch, wardiary, frontmaps etc), awards, thousends of photos etc etc etc . Over 50 kilo of material !!!!!!!
Will ask him if it is possible to sell material that is realy double, can not promiss something without asking.

                          yours Eric
