    Iron Cross marked 146?

I know that 146 does not exist on EK maker list but check this markings.

It looks colose to number 146 but it could be also some other non numerical mark.

      That was fast reply. Thanks.
What do you mean exactly? Marking does not look like 132 to me.
Is this some kind of marking for "132" crosses?

The third mumber is the bottom half of a '2' - the second number is not so clear......

Seems to me that some makers prefered to use the larger font rather than the tiny numbers most EKIIs have..........

the same thing happens on 22s for example - it's difficult to fit the whole number onto the ring, so you sometimes get the top or bottom half only.

On Paul Maybauer crosses, the larger font '7' is often stampen on sideways rather than upright in order to be able to read it.

Strange why some makers used over sized numerals or poorly stamped their goods when most of the time the quality control was quite good .
