Ben, that is a very nice Prinzen EKII and in pristine condition! Do you know if any of the Prinzen EKII's are maker marked? The "Schinkel Intermediate" is nice too, even harder to find i guess? If you by chance are selling any Prinzen anytime feel free to PM me, always looking for those small wonders.

Very nice, Ben. In 40 years of advertising, I have found only one prinzen cross and that was an 1870. I was always afraid to buy a 1914 as I know they have been extensively reproduced. Perhaps you can share with us what to look for on originals.

Hi Ben, it is not a match to the cross below but i recall a EK2 Prinzen that looked exactly like yours on either Weitze or Schulzes site a month ago or so. It had the Austrian trifold, the same "TR looking slightly straight" arms, the shiny core with the big dipping W and the TR looking 3 in 1813 . It was gone before i could say "fake??", if i only had kept the pics. What do you think of my 1939 EKII Prinzen? I know its a darn ugly conditioned cross and with that "wide beading" but look at the craftmanship of the swaz, numbers, seams, soldering of jumpring etc. Se link: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=337367Attached Files
