RK Juncker 800 dot,... RKT Böttcher, Walter-Hans???

Finaly I got the top peace for my collection, an RK Juncker 800 dot.

The thing is, that it suppose to belong to RKT Böttcher, Walter-Hans as it was sold few years ago by Mr. Niemann, but it was separated from the lot of documents and album of Böttcher.

For some opinion I already asked Mr. Dietrich Maerz but I would like to open the discusion to other too.

So what botthers me is this.
RK Juncker 800 dot is said to be an early war model of RK's which were awarded in years 1940/41. Bottcher got his RK on 08.02.1943. Would it be possible that an RK from old stock was awarded to him and that even 2 years later?

Second thing. Bottcher was killed on the Russian front on 6th June 1943, that is 4 months after he received the RK. But based on woreness of this RK it seems that it was worn more than for 4 months. The back side is little worn off, mostly the numbers, but on the swastika the colour is quite worn off. It is strange that on the front there is more dammage as it is on the back.

What can you tell me out of this facts I stated here?

Mr. Dietrich Maerz suggested that I should forget about Bottcher and think of RK as of a nice unnamed early war peace. In the end I might do right this but I'm hoping that a nice creative discussion will come out of this thread.

Here are some pictures and I hope you like it! I surely do!

So you had enough money for a KC but asked people for money and said you had none? Classy. I am surprised Dietrich even answered you, you don't deserve it.

Oh look another wiseguy. I never said i had no money for the RK, I said that I would apreshiate any kind of help to get one as that was the last drop to complete my collection. It seems that many of you that have so much to say, think that I have only an EK2, IAB and KVK medal in my collection and naw sudenly I wished for an RK Well fine with me. In the end I completed my goal and what you think or say doesnt efect this.

Hope that naw this discussion will end and that somebody will actualy write some usefull comments about my questions.

Thans again for all the help!

Wow, that is f$%ing priceless. I honestly don't have the words...

Karma is a bitch though... A friend used to own the Böttcher documents group so I could very easily tell you where your prized Böttcher documents are today, but I won't. In fact, I almost bought them from him. I have dozen of high-res scans of the group, including closeup shots of the KC. You know there were hundreds of photos in that group...The KC doc. collectors are a small, tight group and I think you will have a very hard time finding any sympathy.

                    Reap what you sow brother...

                        Hey John
I alredy spoke with the seller of the lot and he said that the buyer wants to remain anonimous. Even if you told me who has it it wouldnt help me. As I said, I have few scans of that auction and that will do. Mostly I was trying to get to the conclusion if this was actualy the Bottchers RK or not.

Unfortunately the discussion is going in the wrong way, which certainly is not my fault, but few individuals just cant get over the fact that I had the nerve to ask for the money to other collectors to furfill my goal. But i did, and I would do it again as it was certainly worth it! I'm only disapointed in this few individuals which were suposed to be an example to other collectors but what can you do. I have to deal with this and so it be. I got what I desired. A beautiful RK is in my collection, so are many other great peaces of which I'm proud of and many more are to come.

This is what I have to say for myself. Now how this thread will go on depends only from you. If it stays like this is OK for me. I got many facts to make at least a good conclusion out of this.

In the end only one thing matters! " I have an early Juncker 800 dot"

Here is a nice portrait shot of Böttcher where you clearly see the maker of his KC. Though, if he was alive to see this, I'm sure this is what he would have to say...

And the awareness that Mr. Böttcher would rotate in his grave, knowing that you got it...
