      kvk2

hi, you have a war merit cross 2nd class with swords, or kvk2 for short! more than six million were awarded, so you should be able to pick up a nice example with ribbon for around $70 or less!!!

          No ribbon and corrosion.

          Hello,

          As Don says...under 45.

That one you show is without ribbon and has significant corrosion. Frankly I would not buy it at any price. Wait for a good early brass version.

Scroll down this page and you will see several...

Paul Hogle (WAF name lakesidetrader) is a member here and should you choose to buy from him you will find he is a good guy to deal with.

As is John Telesmanich (WAF name John T) of this site...

I will also suggest you to avoid this piece.
It had a hard life and with such corrosion it doesn't worth to be an addition in any collection especially if it doesn't come with an original ribbon.

I bought mine from here, from our forum for a very reasonable price, with original period ribbon , 6 Maker marked, Fritz Zimmermann and I am happy with my choice.

As I see from the link that Stu provide, this guy have some nice pieces with good prices...Merit cross II class is a must addition to every 3rd Reich collection.

            Wish you a great choice
