I would not say the a MM134 DkiG is rare.
If the cross is original and it comes with an original box, then price at 1750$ seems more then fair to me.

I think he is just selling the cross, he doesn't mention anything about the case. It also lookes like two different cases in the pics, but this could just be because the angle/light of the picture.
