L/17 is the LDO number for Hermann Wernstein but that cross does not look right to me.
I assume the other cross is a miniature?

Nope, not a miniature. They recieved this from their comrades from the HJ/BDM/Waffen-SS (medals..) and they were from they. So none fake.

I don't know how solid your provenance is, But with these pictures the only item I give a chance of being original is the Mother cross.

May I suggest you look at the 1000's of crosses posted in the forum. This may make you realise that your crosses are ......."odd" to say the least.... and may make you think twice about making such statements.

Agreed. The only cross that stands a chance is the Mothers Cross. The EKs are ALL fakes.
I have an EK1 exactly the same as yours, one piece, thin numerals, poor beading. I bought it from Nicholas Morigi back in the early 90s - as a repro.
