IMO a fake.

The hinge and pin system is only to find on fakes (most schinkel fakes).
The clasp isn't better. The case is imitately aged, too.

The EK I is marked with "26", but this maker didn't produced this kind of EK I's (with this hinge and pin system).

I agree with Daniel. The spange is a well-known fake. Poor execution of construction, overlapping spange on EK.

I own a genuine one of these and the LDO logo as far as I know on all period examples is the second pattern logo on the liner. The catch also is incorrect for known versions of the case in my opinion.

The only difference in the 'two' forms is the recesss: one for a pin and one for a screw.

The pictures are too small for other comment, but over all I wouldn't hold my breath on it as a period example, no.
