Should be in the crosses forum so I'll move it there.

Basing this on the untrained eyes that I have I would say they are very similar except the silver wash on mine is more worn. Would this be an accurate statement?

There seems to be something on the reverse of this spange, a grain in the metal almost, or is it just me? Is this an original feature?

I prefer to remain silent on these L/12s, as I don't know either way on them,
and I know that will cause trouble in itself
anyone have one direct from a vet? I'd be interested to listen
                        regards

                          James,

I see what you're referring to. I'm not sure what to make of this. On another note I see some similar design features on this spange and a 1st pattern 1st Class Juncker. I don't say one way or another on this spange, just that there are some similarities involved.

On most 1st pattern 1st Class Juncker spanges there are more pronounced corners on the wings on both sides of the eagle's head, more like the 2nd class shown. My badge has been finished more than most 1st pattern Junckers in this area.

After reading this I was wondering what you guys think of my L/12 EKII Spange.

                              Thanks
