    Rk "4" 935

Guys, Carsten has an incuse relief "4" 935 on sale on his site. Due to the "iffy" timeline for these ... wouldn't you think 8500 Euros to be a tad on the expensive side? Especially "new soldered"?

Is there a detailed picture of the marking? I tried to find the item but I gave up. I want to see pictures not learn how to use a completely unfriendly program ...

I don't know what it is but that cross doesn't really look like a typical 935-4 ...

I had to look that one up since I didn't get the connection with a scull!

                        skulduggery

                        Main Entry: skul·dug·gery
                        Variant(s): skull·dug·gery \ˌskəl-ˈdə-g(ə-)rē, ˈskəl-ˌ\
                        Function: noun
                        Inflected Form(s): plural skul·dug·ger·ies
                        Etymology: origin unknown
                        Date: 1867

: underhanded or unscrupulous behavior; also : a devious device or trick

I would not go that far as to say that Mr. Baldes is doing this knowingly or on purpose. Chances are he isn't! However, the description fits to the maker or better re-maker of this cross!

ahhh yes. Leave it to the English Master (me) to get the spelling wrong Good catch Dietrich.

BTW ... did Dave buy this one for his collection?

Here are the markings turned "right side up". Perhaps Mr. Kane could post one of his 935-4's for a side by side comparison?

                              8500

Methinks the decimal point is missing between the 8 and 5 of 8500 Euros.

I cant imagine that anyone with such a cross in the hand could mistake this for a genuine 935/4.

(Maybe someone changed out the non magnetic core ?)

                              Chris

                              (looking for early K & Q RK)
