Very nice Bob. I own a book entitled "Die Wittekind" by Kiss that's hand dedicated by Himmler to Alfred Arnold Sr. that was also from a grouping purchased from the Arnold family that included his TK Ring and other pieces by Don Boyle.

I AM AWARE OF THE OTHER GROUPING. IT IS NOT AS EXTENSIVE BUT STILL VERY NICE GROUPING OF MATERIAL. I PURCHASED THE FAMILY GUEST BOOK AND ANOTHER HIMMLER DEDICATED BOOK TO ARNOLD SR. OUT OF HERMANN HISTORICA'S AUCTION A FEW YEARS BACK. THE GUEST BOOK WAS OF GREAT INTEREST TO ME AS I HAD A PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN OF HIMMLER SIGNING THE BOOK. I HAVE ALWAYS FELT FORTUNATE TO HAVE OBTAINED THE ARNOLD JR GROUPING INTACT. FRANKLY, MY HAT IS OFF TO PETER V LUKACS FOR KEEPING IT TOGETHER. BROKEN UP, I AM SURE HE COULD HAVE OBTAINED A FAR GREATER PROFIT. I WAS ALSO FORTUNATE TO OBTAIN IT WHEN THE DOLLAR STILL HAD AN EQUAL VALUE WITH THE EURO.

Most of the books that Himmler gave as gifts had only his signature. The book I have contains a four line hand dedication to Arnold. Is your book the same Bob? Both Arnolds had an interesting history and it's great you have and kept a complete grouping! Best, Erich
