      Question,

      Do all original screwbacks have to have that little nipple on the reverse?

      Meaning if it is not present the piece is not original Pre -1945

        Joe,

        Most of them have the little retaining hook, but some don't, so the presence of the hook is not a requirement for a piece to be of wartime manufacture.
