    How did you aquire so many frames at one time?

    Either way that is kind of cool, do people really collect them? What do you uh, do with like 80+ frames? Make your own EK's?

      Fascinating

      Really fascinating, and thanks for posting.

      Please give us some details as to the story behind these.

      I'd be really interested in some close up shots of the reverse of the frame and beading (we dont often get to see this area !)

                  I agree, perfect for next christmas "pepparkaksbak".. No but seriously, interesting, where do they all come from? A find at a certain factory, or somebody who simply also collected frames?

                    Nice lot - I thought about bidding, but I missed out on the auction when they popped up (I assume this is the lot of 50 frames?) - Very nice! A whole lot of TWO piece consturcted EKs

                      The interesting is that the frames aren't by W&L and Juncker.
                      But they have a distinctive convexity on frame for the loop ring.

                        Grueni - When you're talking about the convexity, do you mean the "hump" like on the Deschler EK2s?

                          I believe it's the same.

                          hump=convexity

                          W&L and Juncker have the biggest hump.

                            Note the criss cross pattern in one of the corners.

                              sorry there is no fancy story about these. They come from a person that normally doesnt handle militaria, only estates.

                              I really dont know why I bought them, but for those who study IC's I could be interesting.
