EKII Spange Database

I read somewhere that there was no database for EKII spanges so I thought I would start with mine and everyone is welcome/appreciated to add theirs.

My first is L/II

WEIGHT (grams): 10<O></O>
FEATHERS WITH/OUT SPINE: with spines<O></O>
COMMENTS: Prongs are recessed and then soldiered. Leg feathers go all the way to the feet. Four oak leaves on each side.<O></O>

Spange L/II with almost all nickel missing

FEATHERS WITH/OUT SPINE: with spines<o></o>
COMMENTS: Prongs are recessed and then soldiered. Leg feathers go all the way to the feet. Four oak leaves on each side (poorly defined). Made from Zinc.<o></o>

Next is a Prinzen

FEATHERS WITH/OUT SPINE: with spines<o></o>
COMMENTS: This looks like a Deumer (L/II), as the 1939, and wreath layout are the same. Under the prongs is written in ink ./65.<o></o>

There's a project forum that was set up for this kind of thing. Why don't you contact that moderator and add these to those already there?

Hello all - With what has been started with this thread we should be assisting Jim to add more about spanges. I am posting two links on the WAF. The first link is of the Project forum and the second link is of the database that was put together by a fellow forum member.
