Just imagine if all of the egos could come together....Jeeez, I'm turning in to John L.
I've said my peace and the same over there. As far as I'm concerned if he keeps me out of his business, I'll keep his out of mine.
P.S. Who the hell is John L. ?

My father was a Naval officer who was combat promoted from CPO, in early 1945. He served aboard the USS Honolulu from the pre attack at Pearl Harbor to the end of the war, with most of his time as an medic corpsman serving with landing Marines.
He had a saying, when someone was being attacked without good reason: "They are throwing spitballs at a battle ship".
My dad was a smart fellow!

Bob,
Your story of your dad is fascinating. My dad, on the other hand, fought the war next to the sides of the many engineers in the Manhattan Project - designing the nuclear plants which produced plutonium for the bomb which saved the lives of perhaps a million American lives, the old reactors which still stand today along the Columbia River at the Hanford Atomic Works in Richland, WA. His best friend, a college companion and fellow-engineer on the project, was pulled from his desk and served with the Army infantry unit which liberated most of the concentration camps at the end of the battles he saw across Europe. Recently, this friend let everything go - all that he had hid for over 60+ years. His photograph was on the front page of the local newspaper, him holding a German flag over his lap. He finally let all here locally know of his exploits.
