    Testing my New Knowledge

After reading Dietrich's book I have decided that the cased Steinhauer and Luck Knights Cross awarded to Oberleutnant Martin Korner currently listed on Detlev Niemanns site would count as an A type with no flaws. Am I correct? Any input appreciated

Excellent cross in a very nice case of issue. I had that piece in my collection in the past.
Yes it is an A-type with no flaws as I recall correctly.

I've managed to buy this nice cross to add to my collection ,just as a matter of interest Kevin do you know how it is known that it was awarded to Oberleutnant Korner?

Since Kevin generously posted these photos of this cross (which will be a slightly belated birthday present to myself) would anyone else like to give me their opinions on it..I'm always looking for input on my KC purchases

Sorry for the late reply. It originally came from DN in the past and I believe it was purchased directly from the family. It is really a very nice cross with a very nice case of issue and I didn't understand why it lastest so long as the price was good. The documents, pokal and other awards were sold seperately.

                  Thanks
                  Kevin

Thanks for the reply Kevin, initially I thought the price was slightly high for a Stienhauer and Luck KC but I guess it is an unflawed A type in great condition with a nice case and a Luftwaffe connection,I believe another collector had it reserved before me and passed on it so I think I'm pretty lucky
Its a pity the documents ect got split from the KC..be nice to have a look at those..

Hi, I still have the original COA from DN when it was still a grouping. So all docs, pokal and other medals are on it.
The price you paid was in my opinion an honest price.
If you send me your adress on Pm I could send it to you.

                      Thanks
                      Kevin
