Does it have a maker's mark?

I dont know, this is all he put in the description.

An authentic German Iron Cross with original case. Some discoloration of (silver or silver plating?) around edges.

              Hi Guys,

Don't no if my eyes are playing tricks on me but I think I can clearly see a 2 on the pin.

Tyler I would ask te seller for more detailed pics. Not a lot to tell from these.

Stephan, How could you possibly tell who made this from these pictures? If you dont know, dont reply. Pot shot guesses are of little value.

As stated, ask for a better description, and also inquire about a money back guarantee while you are at it.

I sent him an email for some more detailed pics, and asked him if he has a guarantee, now I just have to wait for the reply

I can't see clearly the details I look for on the obverse of a Souval in this picture, but the pin on my wartime Souval is different.

this piece is 10000% made by rudolf souval.

one important point are the "round corners". also the needle was so used by most of souval`s pieves. another point that we can't se actually on the photos is the "flat" date 1939.

Souval EKs have "dipping" 3s in the date and also a rather unique style in the way that the beading meets at the outside corners of the arms. I don't see either of those characteristics in the picture. (I'm not saying that they're not there -- just that I don't see them.)
