It is the same core Mike P (chef) has on his S&L. Different, but good.

                Frame ?

But is it a S&L frame then ?...the core is certainly different to the usual isnt it.

(Now, I wonder where this is going to lead us ?)

Has anyone seriously looked at S&L cores? I asked Dietrich some time ago and I believe he responded that he had not, instead concentrating on other areas.
Is this the beginning of multiple cores.........? (Assuming, of course, that this is an S&L frame, which is hard to tell from the photos.)

I can only say that this is not a S&L core. Maybe they had two core tools maybe they had 50. Mike P.s' core has a regular S&L core.

The only thing I can say is this: all the S&L's I have seen so far (including all the non-iron post war ones) came from the same core die IMHO.

I cannot see whether the frame is an S&L or not so I would think that the speculation about a different core from S&L could only start when it is confirmed that the frame is a S&L.
