Mm16 exist, Alois Rettenmaler, but to my knowledge he/she/they never made kvk's. I have never seen one.

The rest looks just as bad, so....

I think I have seen a MM16 2nd Class here in the past. I would not rule out a first class.

I think members have helped you on many decorations the best they can. Do a bit research on your own. It will be rewarding. If you are going to sell items the responsibility is yours, and not the the opinions from other members. I have noted that you have shown many items that turned out as known fakes. Who have provided you with those?

              Good luck.

                Wiking?

If I had your eye for detail I would look them all up. I have tryed for the last two years and I can not seem to grasp the knack for detail needed. I am 66 and my eyes are old and tired. I have tryed trust me. I cant do it.

As to where did I get all my decorations. Mostly from the Max show over the last years when they were in Monroeville. It seems the main scorce of the fakes I have bought was the Pieces of History Guy from Cave Creek Arizona. At that show mostly. Mostly KM and LW.

I have bought a lot from Detlev (all good) and from Helmut Weise as well. Even Winkler at his old location. I used to travel to Germany often. Hamburg was always on my agenda. I no longer spend any money on 3rd Reich items as I seem to have wasted a lot of money. Now if you dont want to answer my questions then dont. But as I understand it this forum is here just for that reason. To help ascertain fakes from originals. I have one EK I bought from the estand that I am not sure of either. I'll post later but will not mention which one. I havent even scratched the surface yet. Please bare with me..
Now with all that behind us, what about this cross? Rubbish or not?

The cross looks ok. Original in my opinion.

                      Hello,

I see no problem with that cross.
The stamp is well known from the Iron cross.

                        Franki -
I'm relatively new still - only about 5 years in "the game" - and haven't seen anything remotely similar to this stamp on either an EK or KVK.

Can you show me, and other members, other examples of this particular 16 MM??

                        thanks in advance

I'll have to correct myself, mm16 is on the kvk2 maker list. So Dennis is right.

Other than that I'm still not convinced about this one. To be more specific the mm, the pin and the catch plus the waves on the inner "circle" on the reverse, naah.

                            @Hank

unfortunately I have got no mm 16 EK1 in my collection.
But I happen to know that one menber of this forum has one of them.

If you like to see one of them on a picture please have a look in the book
