    Hello,

it's an original EK I. I think it was vaulted during the war. I have an vaulted EK I by 26, too. The paint on the swastica is came off. It could be that on your EK I it was the same and anybody repainted the core (near swastica). With this pictures it's hard to say anything with the paint.

It's original, but the "home made" vaulting would make me skip on this particular piece.... the "26"s are not too hard to find, save your money for a nicer one is my advice - here's the back of a "26" that has not been vaulted...

26'ers are one of my favorite mm for crosses. Personally i'd go with the more beat up cross than the mint one. the mint cross doesn't say much to me where as the other has character.

            But thats just me

If there is black paint on the silver frame, it must have been repainted (the black paint is hard to see in your picture...).

                          For example:
                          L/54
                          Souval
                          106
                          138
                          128

                          I don't know why?

Its somethings black on the white frosting at the rim. But i have lack of experience to say what it is.....
I highlited it at this image. 3 arms and some inners corners near the swas have it.
Sry but its the best photo i can make.
