Well it looks pretty darn good to me (and I have seen plenty direct from Vets)

If fake they have done a great job, right down to the reverse needle pins.

Although the ribbon may or may have not been added later would have nothing to do with the originality of the clasp itself, I don't see any real cause for alarm on this one either

Honour Roll Clasp of the Navy

This is a vet souvenir from 1945. It was picked up from naval stores in Kiel by a Royal Navy sailor. It came with the EK2 Ribbon plus blue card base but unfortunately the case has been lost to time.

This piece is a text book example so I don't know why members are sceptical about the piece which William has posted at the start of this thread. There again, my real interest is Political Awards so maybe I'm missing something....

Textbook Navy clasp Stan, Just like the 30 + clasps I have seen direct from Canadian Vets (who also found them in stores).

The Collectors Guild example was from a Veterans Estate,I know the owner.

                        KM Honor Roll Clasp

                        Hello,
Is this the same one that was originally posted. The one I looked at yesterday had the thicker posts to the reverse with blunt ends.

                        Regards,
                        Jody

                          Jody,

The pictures I have posted are not the ones from the beginning of the thread and I only showed them for comparison. They are therefore two different clasps but I think that they are very similar.

                            KM Clasp

                            Hi Stan,
The clasp originally posted by William is a good one. Yesterday I ended up looking at the wrong link. It happened when I was searching for my old thread.

                            Regards,
                            Jody
